When you use SortLoom, we may collect and process the following information:

• Store information — your Shopify store name, domain, and authentication details required to connect the app to your store.
• App settings — sorting strategies, collection settings, pinned products, schedules, plan details, and preferences you configure in the app.
• Store data accessed via Shopify — product, collection, inventory, and order information needed to sort and merchandise your collections. This data is accessed through Shopify's official APIs and is used only to provide app functionality.
• Usage and support data — sort activity logs, error reports, and optional feedback or ratings you choose to submit.

We do not collect or store your customers' personal details such as names, addresses, or payment information in our own database.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the SortLoom app
• Sort and reorder products in your collections as you configure
• Save your settings and display sort history
• Process billing and enforce plan limits where applicable
• Respond to support requests and improve the app
• Comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With Shopify — as required to operate the embedded app through Shopify's platform and APIs.
• With service providers — such as hosting providers that help us run the app, under strict confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Data retention

We retain your store and app data for as long as the app is installed on your store. If you uninstall the app, we delete your store data from our systems in accordance with Shopify's data protection requirements, typically within 48 hours of uninstallation.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because SortLoom is installed on your Shopify store, you can also uninstall the app at any time to stop further data collection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
